Repair and Service

All of Metrocom's service is performed in-house by FCC licensed technicians employing state of the art test equipment. A full time Metrocom pick up and delivery clerk is on staff and provides expedient, personalized service. Average turnaround time on repairs is 48 hours or less. “Loaner” radios, repeaters and base stations are always available.

Factory Mutual Certification

Metrocom has received FM Approval Repair Facility Certification and can perform service on equipment which is labeled "FM Approved Intrinsically Safe". Motorola radios which are FM Approved have green dots and the appropriate labels. Service can only be performed by an FM approved facility if the FM approved rating is to be remain in effect.
